Bank of Canton Celebrates Grand Opening of Its Marshfield Mortgage Center

February 26, 2009 – George DeMello, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending for Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce the Bank is expanding its residential lending presence on the South Shore with a new Mortgage Center at 20 Congress Street in Marshfield, MA.

“We are very proud of the team we have assembled in Marshfield and are excited to provide the South Shore with another convenient way to access the exemplary customer service, cutting edge products and competitive rates that are our hallmarks,” said DeMello. “Thanks to our incredibly loyal customers and new Mortgage Centers in Auburn and Waltham, we increased our residential mortgage loan originations by more than $120 million last year.  With an expanded presence in Marshfield, we hope to continue on our path of growth and offer more mortgages to South Shore residents.”

The team in the Marshfield Mortgage Center will be led by Don Parsons of Marshfield and will provide clients with access to the following programs and services:

• Jumbo portfolio loan programs
• Counseling for first-time homebuyers
• Commercial properties and business loans
