Bank of Canton Participates in "Teach Children to Save"

April 7, 2009 – On Tuesday, April 7, 2009 Bank of Canton celebrated National Teach Children to Save Day with John F. Kennedy Elementary School in Canton, MA.  Assistant Branch Managers Filomena Correia and Mary Czyras presented workshops to third and fifth graders on the importance of proper money management. National Teach Children to Save is a program established by the American Bankers Association in 1997 to introduce and educate our youth about proper ways to save.

“Working with our youth to help them understand proper money management and learn ways to save is very important,” said Ms. Correia. “We greatly enjoyed the opportunity to work with the children from our community to give them the tools and knowledge they need to become successful savers.”
