Bank of Canton Donates $500 to Lions Club of Quincy

April 10, 2009 – Stephen P. Costello, President and CEO of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce the Bank’s recent donation of $500 to the Quincy Lions Club. This contribution will help sponsor the 12th annual Run/Walk for Sight taking place at Pageant Field on April 25, 2009. The event helps raise funds for eye research, eye exams, hearing aids and holiday dinners for the blind and visually impaired.

“For nearly 70 years, the Quincy Lions Club has served the local community, raising money to support eye research and providing free eye exams, eyeglasses and health screenings to people in need,” said Joseph Reardon, Quincy Lions Club President. “But these accomplishments wouldn’t be possible without the supports of sponsors like Bank of Canton that help us make a difference in so many lives.”
