Bank of Canton Donates $1,000 to Housing Assistance

April 17, 2009 – Stephen P. Costello, President and CEO of Bank of Canton is pleased to announce its recent donation of $1,000 to the Housing Assistance Corporation of Cape Cod. This donation will help sponsor the 24th  annual Cape Walk to End Homelessness taking place on October 4, 2009 in three locations – Falmouth, Hyannis and Orleans

“We appreciate Bank of Canton’s generosity in supporting the Cape Walk and we hope that their great example leads to the generosity of many others throughout our area,” said Rick Presby, HAC CEO/President. “We are pleased they’re helping out with our cause, and this contribution once again shows why Bank of Canton is a pillar in the community.”

“The Cape Walk to End Homelessness is an incredible event and we are honored to be a part of it this year,” said Mr. Costello.  “We hope the Housing Assistance Corporation takes one step closer of reaching their ultimate goal of ending homelessness on Cape Cod.”

The goal for the walk is to have 741 participants…one for every man, woman and child on Cape Cod facing homelessness.
