Bank of Canton Donates $500 to Town of Norwood

April 17, 2009 – Stephen P. Costello, President and CEO of Bank of Canton is pleased to announce its recent donation of $500 to the Town of Norwood. This contribution will help support the Summer Concerts on the Common series held annually at the Walter J. Dempsey Memorial Bandstand.

“The Concerts on the Common series has become a summer tradition in Norwood and Bank of Canton’s donation will help keep it alive and well for its 15th season,” said John Carroll, Norwood Town Manager. The Bank has always been generous to our town, and this contribution once again shows just how much they care about their community.”

“We are pleased to provide support to our friends at the Town of Norwood for these wonderful family-oriented events,” said Mr. Costello.  “As a Norwood resident, I am proud of our town’s great traditions and there’s no better tradition than our free Summer Concerts on the Common.”

The Summer Concerts on the Common series will take place every Sunday night beginning June 28 and will run through Labor Day weekend.
