Bank of Canton Hires Robert Orlando as Regional Lending Manager

July 17, 2009 – George DeMello, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending for Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Robert Orlando has joined the Bank’s Marshfield lending office as a Regional Lending Manager. With over 23 years experience in the mortgage industry, Orlando’s primary duties include planning and originating mortgage loans and developing and maintaining successful relationships with contacts in the real estate and financial industries.

Prior to joining Bank of Canton, Robert served as a Home Mortgage Consultant at Wells Fargo, Eastern Regional Manager at Universal Mortgage, and Senior Vice President of Residential Lending at Rockland Trust Company. He resides in Pembroke with his wife Susan and is the proud father of three boys – Robert, Michael, and Christopher. Robert enjoys his free time fishing and is an avid fan of motorsports.

Mr. Orlando earned his Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and Marketing from the University of Massachusetts in Dartmouth. He is an active member of the Plymouth & South Shore Board of Realtors, the Brockton Hospital Foundation Board, and the Tri Town Rotary Club.
