Bank of Canton Hosts “Banking Day” for Hyannis Kindergarten

December 17, 2009 – Stephen P. Costello, President and CEO of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce the Bank’s Hyannis Branch hosted “Banking Day” for the kindergarten class at the West Parish Family School. Students from the West Barnstable school got a first-hand look at what it is like to work in the banking industry. The visit featured a tour of the vault and a valuable lesson on savings where bank executives answered questions and taught the children about the fundamentals of money and banking.

We encourage the kids to have fun and explore the fundamentals of money and banking because good savings habits that begin at an early age lead to brighter financial futures.”
