Randolph Resident Wins Bank of Canton “Learn & Earn” Contest

February 2, 2010 – Stephen P. Costello, President and CEO of Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Phyllis Marks of Randolph, MA is the most recent winner of the Bank’s “Learn & Earn” Contest. Ms. Marks is the recipient of the $250 contest prize after winning a random drawing among all entrants that correctly answered questions on the Bank’s “Learn & Earn” Quiz. Customers and non-customers of the Bank entered the contest by filling out ATM slips distributed at most Bank of Canton ATMs and in all branch locations.

“Bank of Canton is an institution committed to giving back to its customers and communities,” said Mr. Costello. “We congratulate Phyllis Marks, a long-time Bank of Canton customer, on winning our ‘Learn & Earn’ Contest and would like to thank everyone who participated. The “Learn & Earn” Quiz centered on Bank of Canton’s lowest mortgage rates in 20 years. Through June 30th, first-time homebuyers are eligible for a maximum $8,000 tax credit while current homebuyers may receive a maximum $6,500 credit towards their next principal home purchase. Homebuyers must sign a contract before April 30 and close by June 30.
