Bank of Canton Hires Doug Danzey as Regional Lending Manager

June 29, 2010 – George DeMello, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending for Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Doug Danzey has joined the Bank’s Waltham lending office as a Regional Lending Manager. In addition to his work in the Metro-Boston area, Doug will be working at the Bank’s Hyannis branch serving clients on the Cape and Islands. With over 12 years experience in the mortgage industry, Mr. Danzey’s primary duties include planning and originating mortgage loans, developing and maintaining successful relationships with contacts in the real estate, law and financial industries, and recruiting mortgage professionals serving the Cape Cod area.

Prior to joining Bank of Canton, Doug served as a Home Mortgage Consultant at Wells Fargo, Loan Originator at Bank of America, and Vice President – Senior Mortgage Advisor at Pride Mortgage. He resides in Sandwich with family.

Mr. Danzey attended the University of Massachusetts in Boston. In 2006, he was recognized by Mortgage Market Magazine as one of the Top Mortgage Originators in the United States, earning a 22nd ranking.
