Bank of Canton Hires Subrata Bhattacharya as Regional Lending Manager

August 6, 2010 – George DeMello, Senior Vice President of Residential Lending for Bank of Canton, is pleased to announce that Subrata (Sub) Bhattacharya has joined the Bank’s corporate headquarters as a Regional Lending Manager. With more than 8 years of experience in the mortgage industry, Sub’s primary duties include planning and originating loans for homebuyers in the Metro-Boston area and proactively developing and maintaining successful relationships with contacts in the real estate and financial industries.

Prior to joining Bank of Canton, Mr. Bhattacharya served as President and Owner of Chariot Funding in Randolph, Sr. Product Line Manager at Netplane Systems, and Product Manager at Verizon. He resides in Canton with his wife Mitti and their two children Brinden and Trisha. Sub is active in the local community coaching T-ball and raising awareness for autism.

Mr. Bhattacharya received his Bachelors in Electrical Engineering from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst, and went on to earn his MBA from Babson College in Wellesley.
